Sustainable Production Forum – A ‘green’ focus on Australia and New Zealand

Sustainable Production Forum (SPF) – A ‘green’ focus on Australia and New Zealand

The Sustainable Production Forum is an annual global hybrid conference with the mission to connect people and stories, spark ideas, and advance sustainable practices. Green Spark Group, a world leader in sustainable production in the entertainment industry, is a foundational partner. Green Spark Group founded the Creative Industries Pact for Sustainable Action to provide community and connection for creative organizations around the globe dedicated to upholding the UN SDGs. SPF are very keen to connect with APDG members about their work and practices, and include our voices as part of international conversations.

This year in late September, SPF invited Sustainable Screens Australia, Damon Gameau from Regenerators and Craig Gainsborough-Waring from Greenlit in NZ to share the variety of ‘green’ wins happening in the screen sector and discuss the challenges ahead. Their inspiring chat can be seen here. APDG sustainability advocate Imogen Ross spoke about the need for education and training as part of an international panel in the Circularity in Design panel.

APDGreen Conversations invites APDG members to watch some of the insightful discussions and sessions at your convenience and share with screen colleagues over summer. https://www.sustainableproductionforum.com/spf-on-demand.

More SPF content can be found on the YouTube channel for SPF and Green Spark Group.

THERE IS ALWAYS SO MUCH MORE TO THE GREEN CONVERSATION…

If you are interested in adding your professional design voice and suggestions to an APDG Sustainability Protocols group or promoting green initiatives in future Green Conversations, please send an email to Imogen Ross or Rebecca Whittington to offer assistance, suggest topics of research and point us towards members who are doing great things in the field of sustainable design.
