HOW DO WE COLLECT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

  • Personal information is collected and stored on the APDG database. The collection of your personal information is via the membership sign-up process and the updating by the individual member within the membership portal.
  • Personal information may also be collected via email, phone or mail provided to the APDG by the individual member.

WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

  • Names &/or Business Names
  • Contact Details (Email, phone number, address)
  • Employment Information, positions, skills
  • Employment history
  • Proof of identity &/or student status
  • Images (Headshots & work stills as uploaded by members)
  • Any additional information that the member willingly provides

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

  • Personal information is used for APDG communications, including membership updates, newsletters, opportunities, invitations and other member related activities and services.
  • Personal information is used for member verification.
  • For members that select automatic renewal, credit card details are stored through a secure payment platform. Credit card payments made over the phone are processed directly and credit card details are not retained or stored by the APDG.
  • Membership information may be used for statistical information to support advocacy efforts.
  • Membership information (including personal information such as payment amounts and dates, name and email) may be held after your membership has expired unless requested to be deleted by the member.

ACCESSING OR UPDATING PERSONAL INFORMATION:

  • Members can manage their own personal information settings within the online member portal.
  • Members can manage their public settings.
  • Members can contact the APDG via email or phone to request their information be added, updated or removed.

DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

  • The APDG does not disclose the personal information of our mailing list to third parties without the explicit permission of the individual.
  • Statistical Information may be shared with selected Third Parties.
