MENTORAPDG turns eight! The program began with the first participants in 2017/18; a shout out to those inaugural pairings!
This year we received applications from a pool of emerging practitioners who demonstrated excellence in their work, and commitment to developing their skills, networks and professionalism. The selection process is based on a range of factors including the mentee’s experience, calibre and potential of their work, and whether a suitable mentor is available. The location of mentees and mentors is increasingly national which is terrific; this year participants are based in WA, NSW, SA and VIC.
There are four mentee participants beginning the program this month, congratulations to Matthew Erren (Live Performance – Lighting Design), Emma Lamp (Screen – Costume Design), Hannah Letizia (Screen – Costume Supervisor), and Roberto Manzini (Screen – Costume Design).
Thank you to the remarkable APDG members who have come on board to mentor in 2024/25: Erin Roche, Marion Kerr, Kerry Thompson and Ben Hughes APDG.
