New Sustainability Initiative for Film & TV Production

Romeo Sanuri from Next Printing is a long-time supporter of the APDG. He recently took part in a new sustainability initiative in conjunction with Vectar Projects and Sky News in the UK and is excited to share this with APDG members.

Chris Gilmour the art director of Vectar Projects adding the final touch to their set designs. He is very passionate about sustainability and his involvement in set designs in the past 20 years allows him to share this knowledge.

Cardboard is increasingly popular in all areas of communication, and offers a great way to present ideas in a fresh and imaginative way. It is also much faster and cost effective than more traditional materials, as well as being eco-friendly. It is the ideal medium for making innovative and exciting events, as well as rapid, flexible and durable sets and props.

Here are some recent commissioned projects, including stop motion cityscapes for Banker’s Box, a massive London set for Vidal Sassoon (everything in the ad is made from cardboard, apart from the models!) and a product launch for Hewlett Packard in Barcelona.
