Event Engineering is pleased to announce that we are opening a Victorian office in Melbourne, just ten minutes from Melbourne CBD.
The new office will support our Melbourne clients and Film and Television friends with efficient access for site visits to Victorian locations, studios, and workshops.
Event Engineering has been providing expert advice to the creative industries for more than 30 years. We specialize in engineering, industrial design and certification for film, theatre, live events, and public art structures. The team works with an unrivalled passion, collaborating with clients across all creative industries to push the boundaries of the possible.
Event Engineering recently completed works on the ground-breaking LED Volume Screen structures at NANT Studios, located at Docklands Stage 1. The studios contain one of the largest permanent LED volumes in the world, with a surface area that totals over 1,000 square meters. Event was responsible for the Construction Management and Delivery services for the project, in collaboration with Twenty Three (Belgium), Wi-Creations (Belgium), Tripoint and NANT Studios.
Essentially a giant wall of LED screens, Volume Screens are at the cutting edge of film production techniques. The technology creates spectacular visuals at an attractive cost point, displaying high resolution effects and backdrops to be captured on stage. The project at Docklands Studios Melbourne was endorsed by the State and Federal governments as an investment in the future of Australian Film and Television production.
The Event Engineering office in Melbourne will officially open in March. With more exciting projects on the horizon, the team at Event is excited to support our Victorian clients with all that lies ahead.
Event Engineering are a principal sponsor of the APDG. We thank Event Engineering for their support.
