We are progressing towards many events both in person and online for the PDC International Production Design Week in October from 17th – 26th . There will be exhibitions and live events in Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth with online events throughout the week including professional development workshops on sustainability and professional practice as well as talks from Costume, HMU and Production Designers.Â
In other news, the Australian government initiative ‘Creative Workplaces’ was launched last week. Creative Workplaces was established to address long-standing issues around pay, safety, respect, and workplace culture in the arts and creative industries. The website is now live – a free, national resource hub designed for everyone working in the creative industries – whether you’re self-employed, employed, volunteering, or running an organisation.
